Scabious Caucasica ‘Goldingensis’

Bred in 1887, Scabious caucasica ‘Goldingensis’ remains the largest flowered and richest blue of any Garden Scabious. A staple plant of cottage gardens, this striking hardy perennial is equally useful in cut flower gardens and wildlife areas, where the blooms attract the constant buzz of pollinating insects. Plant it in large groups among other perennials, to create a lovely billowing effect. Height: 60cm (24″). Spread: 45cm (18″).
