Slowly growing into a small wide conical shape, Picea abies ‘Tompa’ is an evergreen shrub that is an ideal choice as a focal point in a rock garden or alpine setting. The dwarf Norway spruce is a low maintenance plant that can be virtually left alone once established, although it will tolerate being pruned to keep it in a formal shape if you need to. The expected growth rate is only 1 – 2 inches (3 – 5cm) per year so it will quite happily stay where it is planted for many years to come without the need for transplanting. These dwarf conifers are also perfect for container growing too!. Height: 75cm (30″). Spread: 60cm (24″).
Plant height and spread is seasonal therefore we list by pot size rather than a defined plant size. The height and spread of the plant delivered will vary depending on the season, meaning arrival images are an indication only.
