Phillyrea Angustifolia

A superb evergreen shrub for those challenging coastal locations. Phillyrea angustifolia boasts salt-tolerant foliage, and positively thrives in light sandy soils. The narrow, leathery, dark green leaves are accompanied by fragrant, creamy white flowers in late spring and early summer, which are later followed by small black berries. This versatile shrub can be grown as a free-standing specimen or clipped as a formal hedge. Height: 300cm (118″). Spread: 200cm (78″).
