Penstemon barbartus var. praecox is a variable variety producing upright spikes of flowers that range from pink through to purple. The slender stems boast narrow, tubular flowers with a more natural appearance than many of the showier, large flowered varieties. The dark, semi-evergreen foliage forms an attractive loose clump in borders. This hardy perennial is quietly elegant, bringing a relaxed, natural-looking display to herbaceous borders. Height: 50cm (20″). Spread: 30cm (12″).
Plant height and spread is seasonal therefore we list by pot size rather than a defined plant size. The height and spread of the plant delivered will vary depending on the season, meaning arrival images are an indication only.
