Iris versicolor ‘Kermesina’ is a particularly beautiful colour variation of the Blue Flag Iris. The plummy-purple blooms with conspicuously veined falls are borne on branching stems from early summer. With a dense, clump forming habit, it will gradually form dense lumps of narrow, strappy foliage. This resilient hardy perennial is a lovely choice for planting in the shallow margins of ponds where it provides valuable cover for wildlife. Height: 90cm (36″). Spread: 30cm (12″). Planting depth: Zones 1 & 2 to 15cm (6″) below water level.
Plant height and spread is seasonal therefore we list by pot size rather than a defined plant size. The height and spread of the plant delivered will vary depending on the season, meaning arrival images are an indication only.
