Diervilla sessilifolia ‘Cool Splash First Edition’ however has brought a variegated leaf to the variety, making it much brighter and more attractive for your beds and borders. The densely branching habit of this plant makes it ideal for woodland planting or as part of a shub collection. ‘Cool Splash’ also has clusters of small yellow flowers during the summer which help to accent its colouration.
