This slow growing conifer has a Yew-like appearance, with long gold-tipped needles that mature to green in winter. Cephalotaxus harringtonia ‘Korean Gold’ is a columnar variety with a compact narrow growth habit that forms a golden exclamation mark in the garden! Commonly known as Plum Yew it enjoys a cool, moist position and makes a useful specimen plant for shaded woodland areas. It also responds well to hard pruning making it suitable as an evergreen hedging plant. Over time it makes a majestic specimen, but will require patience, growing to just half its mature size in around 15 years. Height: 3m (10′). Spread: 2m (6′).
Plant height and spread is seasonal therefore we list by pot size rather than a defined plant size. The height and spread of the plant delivered will vary depending on the season, meaning arrival images are an indication only.
