Allium ‘Medusa’

Named for its slender, snaking foliage, Allium ‘Medusa’ has an intriguing twist to the tip of each leaf. The grey-green foliage forms a rounded clump that creates useful ground cover if planting in dense groups.

In early summer, globes of lollipop flower-heads perch upon slender, upright stems. The flower buds have a nodding, viper-like appearance that straighten as they open. The purple blooms bring a striking vertical accent to planting schemes. Perfect for gravel gardens, summer containers or the front of sunny borders. Height: 60cm (24″). Spread: 10cm (4″).
